No platform payments yet
Freelancers India does not collect, hold or transfer money today, so we cannot issue refunds of project payments. Payments are agreed and settled directly between client and freelancer until on-platform payments launch.
Platform fees
Joining, posting jobs and sending proposals are free during launch, so there are no platform fees to refund.
Disagreements
Use milestones and acceptance criteria to agree what 'done' means. If you disagree, message each other first; you can then open a support ticket and we'll review the on-platform record (brief, messages, milestones) and may moderate accounts. We are not an arbitrator and cannot force a payment or refund.
Fraud and scams
Report anyone asking for 'registration fees', off-platform deposits, or sensitive data. We may suspend accounts that break the Terms.
When payments launch
A full refund and dispute policy will be published with the payments partner's terms before any money moves on the platform.
