How Freelancers India works
A simple, written, milestone-based way for international businesses to work with India's specialist freelancers.
1. Post a structured brief
Describe the business problem, deliverables and acceptance criteria, plus a budget range. A clear brief is the single biggest predictor of a good outcome.
2. Compare proposals
Freelancers write their own proposals, with an approach, price and timeline. Shortlist, decline, or message them to ask questions.
3. Agree a contract and milestones
Accepting a proposal creates a contract. Break the work into milestones that both sides can see move from pending to approved.
4. Review the work
When every milestone is approved, complete the contract. Both sides can then leave an honest review — only completed contracts can be reviewed.
Payments: coming soon
We don't process payments yet. For now, pay the freelancer directly for approved milestones (for example by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal). We'll announce our licensed payments partner when ready.
